Terrorism a state of ideological distortion: culture minister
The minister of culture Dr Mohammed Abubakr al-Maflahi said Saturday terrorism is an expression of a state of ideological, social and economic distortion. He said his ministry seeks to re-arrange the society and its cultural, economic and social institutions in a manner eradicating the spots of economic and moral corruption as well as contributing to create an upright and rational condition.
The minister al-Maflahi added to almotamar.net that the culture ministry's future plans will focus on a number of theatrical and artistic works expressing the values of dialogue and tolerance and abandonment of all forms of violence. It will also produce books of diversified subjects. The minister elaborated that our problem with terror and violence that see the world as one colour and refuse other colours and trends.
He said the task of the ministry is to reveal diversity in political, cultural, economic and plastic arts life to feed the correct vision that opens different horizons.
