11 Houthi Rebels Killed in Amran
YemenOnline- July 04, 2008- Eleven people were killed and four were captured in recent fighting in Amran. The Houthi fighters reignited the violence when they tried to attack an army checkpoint. The army quickly gained the upper hand and overpowered the rebels in a close battle. Fighting ensues in Bani Hushaish, but the army has the rebels surrounded, maintaining that area’s status as an army stronghold.
