Yemen- Echos of Obama Victory
YemenOnline-Nov5,2008- Finally, the U.S presidential competition is over. Obama became the first black president in U.S. history, making many of the world expect a major change in U.S. policy, particularly foreign policy.In fact his wining represents a great victory to the Democracy in US,it gives hopes to US people as well as other people every where in middle east.YemenOnline organized a special survey among a number of citizens in Yemen and found that 90% of them think that electing Obama as President of the United States represented a significant change toward a new world system for more justice and freedom .Some of them called him (Wise president of the world).Others hoped that Obama shouldn’t support the dictatorial regimes in the third world and working for the people, not rulers. Obama has become a dream of vulnerable people in the world,Especially after dark era of the rule of his predecessor, Bush, who has made the United States as an enemy to the peoples of the Middle East .
