Saudi Minister of Defense Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met in Jeddah on Thursday with the Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak.
During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the latest developments in Yemen and the efforts exerted to implement the roadmap under the supervision of the United Nations.
They also discussed the efforts to support the political process between the Yemeni parties, and achieve security and stability in Yemen.
During the meeting, the Minister of Defense affirmed the Kingdom’s firm position in supporting the government of Yemen and its people, in a way that contributes to the country’s development and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, and several other officials from both sides.
