66th Conference of GCC Health Ministers Council to be held in Sana
YemenOnline – January 24, 2009 - Under sponsorship of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the 55th conference of the Gulf Health Ministers Council is to be held in Sana'a on the 3rd of February 2009.
The Minister of Public Health and Population, Mr. Abdul-Kareem Ras'e, stated that "Health Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council and representatives of international and Arab health organizations would take part in the conference."
He added that "Yemen would present a working paper in the frame of Yemeni strategy to improve and build capacities of basic health care and family health"
He confirmed that this conference reflects successes achieved by Yemen in the field of health, enhancing the possibilities for Yemen to join the GCC bloc in all other fields.
