Establishment of the Yemen Human Rights Network (YHRN) announced.
YemenOnline. January 26, 2009 - A number of civil society organizations announced yesterday the establishment of the Yemen Human Rights Network (YHRN) as an effort towards a democratic society where values of freedom, justice and commitment to human rights and the principles of good governance prevail.
The Network includes national and international civil society organizations such as Human Rights Information and Training Center, Democracy School, Women Journalists without Chains, National Authority for Protecting Rights and Freedoms (HOOD), Yemen Observatory for Human Rights, Yemen Organization for Protecting Democratic Rights and Freedom and the Danish Institute for Human Rights.
