Externally supported, terrorist plot to attack foreign interests in Yemen.
YemenOnline. January 31, 2009. A security official said that Yemeni authorities started the deployment of hundreds of soldiers in the border areas against infiltration from neighboring countries by members of al Qaeda in its territory in order to implement terrorist plans against foreign interests.
The source said that those procedures came after the Yemeni security agencies had accessed to information that some of Al-Qaeda members in Saudi Arabia had been trying to infiltrate to Yemen in order to join their colleagues who are in Yemen to launch terrorist attacks against foreign interests and vital facilities in the country
