Yemen Stock market to be established with UAE Imar support.
YemenOnline. Feb 14, 2009 - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar held a meeting today with the delegation of the UAE Imar Company for Financial Services headed by the executive director Jasem Bin Hendi over possibilities of establishing a stock market in Yemen and the support role that Imar could play in this regard.Mujawar pointed out to the preparations already made by the government, highlighting the potential of investment opportunities and features in Yemen, particularly in the sectors of oil, gas and minerals as well as fisheries wealth and industrial opportunities in Aden free zone. For his part, Bin Handi declared the company's willingness to support the project by conducting studies and providing necessary consultation services.
