| The GCC confirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia "that is led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, in the face of attacks and infringements by the armed infiltrators of its territory." The GCC also confirmed its complete support for the unity, security, and stability of Yemen. The Kuwait summit also called on Tehran to engage positively with the requests of the International Atomic Energy Agency [IAEA] and legitimate international resolutions, and reiterated the GCC's rejection of any military action against Iran. The Kuwait summit also passed over "the bump of choosing a new Bahraini Secretary-General, after the final session yesterday was delayed by three hours." GCC Secretary-General Abdul Rahman al-Attiyah also announced the establishment of a joint military force for rapid intervention.
