| Message: NCHRDD seeks to spread cultural of democracy and human rights and to raise the awareness of the importance of democracy and human rights. It works to strengthen and enhance these principles by working alongside the public and the government. Objectives: - Active participation in supporting and promoting democracy and human rights in public life and supporting the civil society efforts to develop economically and socially. - Raising awareness of the importance of women participation in the process of developing democracy along with human rights. - Raising awareness of child rights. - Creating open and active participation in dealing with international organizations and donors, as to increase the efficiency and performance of various Yemeni organizations in the same field. National Campaigns : - Observing Elections 2001-2006 (Sana'a-Aden-Mareb-Hajja-Amran-AlGouf and Lehj). - Let's work together (Motto of NGOs campaign By NCHRDD) - Social Peace project 2009- Freedom of Expression (call for solidarity against government press law)2005-2006. Training : - Organized regional training course on International Mechanism of Human Rights in Sana'a 2005. - Training observers on Presidential elections 2006.
Seminars and conferences :- Organized Weekly Democratic Forum 2002-2004 with participation of leaders of political parties and donors representatives in Yemen . -Coordinating for the dialogue between the government and political parties (2001). - Organized National NGOs meeting for its role in development 2005. - Organized the conference of (Democracy in the Arab world)2007. - Organized the conference on Religion and political tolerance in Yemen 2008.- Establish the daily online news magazine YemenOnline.
