Qatar Charity opens QR2mn complex in Yemen
Dec 20, 2010 Qatar Charity has commissioned a QR2mn services complex at Al-Mahweet province in Yemen that will benefit 1,000 people every day. The complex, built at the historic Al-Ahajar (Shabam Kokban), comprises a mosque, a Holy Qur’an sciences centre, students’ residence, health centre and other annexes.

| The complex, which was built on an area of 1900 sq mt, consists of three buildings housing eight classrooms for boys, three for Qur’an memorisation for girls in addition to offices for teachers and a reception hall. |
