World Bank has announced that it financed about 27 projects in Yemen till the end of 2010 and allocated about $1.1 billion for the developments progress of which about $763 million were spent, according to 26sep.net.
A report issued by the bank showed that most grant goes to investment projects in the fields of water ,education, urban development, agriculture and rural development and transport.
The report also said that the budget deficit reaches $ 1.6 billion for 2010 which will be reduced to $ 1.2 billion by Saudi grant which reaches $180 million . |
