Yemen, WB discuss administrative reforms program SANA'A, Feb. 04 (Saba) - Minister of Civil Service and Insurances Hamoud Khaled al-Sufi held talks with a World Bank delegation headed by Director of Poverty Alleviation and Economic Development Sector, on cooperation aspects between Yemen and WB.
During their meeting in Sana'a, al-Sufi and the WB officer discussed the program of administrative and institutional reforms and future support horizons to Yemen's efforts in this regard.
Al-Sufi evaluated WB's support for Yemen over administrative and institutional reforms, saying that the Bank's continuous support to the country has been positive impact to achieve big successes.
Al-Sufi also reviewed with the WB officer achievements made by the ministry in the fields of administrative and institutional reforms.
The Minister expressed appreciation for WB's approval to transfer support of the institutional $50 million reforms offered to Yemen into donation and its acceptance offering an additional $14 million fund to modernize the civil service project which to be continue till 2010.
On his part, the WB officer hailed the ministry's achievements in the field of modernizing the civil service and administrative reforms.
