Sana'a, May 20, 2008 (YemenOnline) – A delegation from the Yemeni Businesswomen Council is due to take part in a businesswomen meeting to be held in Malaysia early next month.
The state-run 26sep.net quoted Chairwoman of the council Fousia Nashir as saying the delegation will try to familiarize with Malaysian businesswomen experiences in the field of small-scale industries. The delegation will also display the Yemeni businesswomen experiences and activities in this area.
Nashir made it clear the small-scale industries have become engines of economy and industrial development in many countries particularly the developing ones because they help create new job opportunities and absorb unemployment.
