Taiz, May 21, 2008 (YemenOnline) - Taiz launched an AIDS Prevention Program on Wednesday which aims at raising a HIV awareness among the three thousand young men and women in Taiz city.

In the opening of the program, general director of Public Health and Population Office in Taiz Abdul Nasser al-Kabab affirmed that infectedpatient of AIDS should to be treated naturally like any other.

The program lasted for three days in which more then 20 participants in took part.

It was organized by the National Program to Combat AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases in cooperation with Health and Population Office and United Nations International Children's
Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
