YemenOnline-June16,2008-Sources informed YemenOnline that the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) rejected last sunday the proposal presented by the ruling party (General People Congress) (GPC), which included the formation of the Higher Committee for Elections on the basis of equal sharing. GPC proposed that the Chairman of the Committee are nominated by the president of the republic.On the other hand GPC issued a statement accusing JMP to run a way from the GPC calls for dialogue.
