YemenOnline-June30,2008-Security source uannounced today the death of Yahya Awad al-Darie who condemned of attacking the USA embassy in Sana'a with two sound bombs in 2002.
Source said al-Darie died at the prison's clinic as he suffered from a sudden heart attack led to his death at once, denying the report published by alishtiraki.net(Social Party Website) alleging he was given a poisonous injection. He added that the prisoner was a day before his death taken to doctors to be treated from a wound in his leg and he was given treatment. Al-Darie was condemned by the Criminal court in Sana'a for hurling two bombs at the American embassy wall in March 2002 and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, which reduced to seven years by the Appeals Court.
