Yemeni education minister, UNICEF deputy executive director review efforts to improve education

Yemen’s Minister of Education Tariq Al-Akbari and the Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) discussed ongoing efforts to improve education in the country in a meeting in Aden on Wednesday, the Yemen News Agency (SABA) reported.
Al-Akbari highlighted the challenges the ministry was facing, including difficulties printing textbooks, providing sufficient salaries for teachers, and the importance of finding ways to develop the education sector with the help of various organizations, according to SABA.
