Yemen : 13 Israeli Airstrikes Hit Houthi Targets in Sana’a’s Al-Sabeen Square and Bab al-Yemen
Sana’a – Israeli warplanes launched a series of 13 airstrikes , Today Thursday, targeting Houthi positions in the heart of Yemen’s capital, Sana’a.
The strikes focused on Al-Sabeen Square and Bab al-Yemen, coinciding with a televised speech by Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in what analysts described as a calculated political and military message.
According to security and medical sources, the airstrikes hit:
- Command centers and military communication hubs.
- Weapons depots and intelligence facilities.
- Locations believed to host senior Houthi figures, though no confirmed fatalities have been reported.
Local residents reported loud explosions and thick smoke rising over central Sana’a. The Houthi group has yet to release an official statement regarding casualties or damage.
The Israeli military named the operation “Crosswave Package”, stating it was a direct response to the Houthi drone attack on Eilat, which left 50 people injured.
