4 Gov't Soldiers Killed in Roadside Bomb Attack in Yemen's Hadramaout
Hadramout — Local sources reported on Saturday that two government military officers and two soldiers were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unidentified gunmen detonated in Hadramawt governorate, southeastern Yemen.
The explosion struck a military vehicle while it was on patrol, instantly killing the four servicemen. Security forces quickly cordoned off the area and launched an investigation to identify those responsible.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which underscores the fragile security situation in Hadramawt, where government forces face sporadic assaults from armed groups.
