The spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate in Jazan Region, Col. Mohammed Bin Yahiya Al-Ghamdi has stated that the directorate received a report about the fall of a military projectile launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia from inside Yemen towards Al-Harth Governorate in Jazan Region.
Col. Al-Ghamdi added that the military projectile was a Katyusha-type missile that fell in a garden adjacent to the Al-Harth General Hospital, its shrapnel scattered in several different locations, and there was no damage or injuries reported.
Procedures adopted in such cases have been immediately implemented, Col.Al-Ghamdi said.
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen strongly condemned the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia launching of a military projectile from inside Yemen towards Al-Harth Governorate in Jazan Region, that fell in a garden adjacent to Al-Harth General Hospital.
In a statement issued Sunday, Dr. Al-Othaimeen stressed the OIC's condemnation of the terrorist practices of the terrorist Houthi militia and whoever supports them by money or weapon.
In Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt expressed its strong condemnation of the continued attempts to target the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, which on Sunday targeted Al-Harth Governorate Jazan Region with a military projectile.
It also tried to target the Kingdom with a bomb-laden UAV that the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy successfully intercepted and destroyed in Yemeni airspace.
In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirmed its support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to ensure its security and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens in facing these cowardly terrorist attacks, and in order to confront terrorism and its supporters.
