UAE launches emergency relief initiative for flood victims in southern Yemen
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of UAE, gave urgent orders to relief and accommodated those affected by the floods that hit a number of southern provinces of Yemen.
Sources in southern Yemen said Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed had directed the UAE Red Crescent to help affected areas and deal with the effects of floods in Aden, Lahj and the southern provinces.
The agency said that in response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Red Crescent has provided all available resources to help the affected areas and deal with the effects of the floods that hit Aden, Lahj and the rest of the southern governorates.
