Coin Stall raises over $3,000 for children in Yemen

Members of the Coldwater High School Interact Club raised international awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen Friday by hosting a Coin Stall to donate funds to the organization Save the Children.
Interact has managed to raise nearly $3,000 so far, and the Coldwater Noon Rotary Club will be donating $350 in honor of their humanitarian efforts.
Coin Stall is a fundraiser where students were encouraged to bring in coins all week, and teachers were not to begin teaching fifth hour classes Friday until all of the coins had been counted.
In addition to bringing in coins, students were allowed to purchase additional "time stallers" items from Interact Club members before school and during lunch.
