Sudanese Army Allegations Against the UAE Refuted by UN Security Council Reports

Jamal Al-Awadhi, Secretary-General of the Paris Forum for Peace and Development, stated that the allegations made by the Sudanese army against the UAE are driven by groups affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and political Islam, who aim to tarnish the UAE's image on the international stage. He explained that the situation in Sudan reflects an internal power struggle among stakeholders, where the Sudanese people are bearing the greatest cost of this ongoing conflict.
On the other hand, the final report of the UN Security Council, prepared by the United Nations Panel of Experts on Sudan, revealed the absence of any evidence supporting these allegations. The report affirmed that the UAE was not a party to the conflict and did not engage in any actions warranting condemnation, conclusively refuting the claims made by the Sudanese armed forces.
The UAE, through its permanent mission to the United Nations, issued a statement rejecting these "baseless accusations." It also emphasized the urgent need to immediately and unconditionally end the civil war in Sudan, engage in peace talks to resolve the conflict, and facilitate humanitarian aid access to the Sudanese people.
