Netanyahu threatens Qatar to expel or prosecute Hamas leaders: ‘If you don’t, we will’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday warned Qatar to expel or prosecute Hamas leaders on its soil, following Israeli airstrikes on the group’s officials in Doha the previous day.
“If you don’t, we will,” Netanyahu said during a speech commemorating the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States. “I say to Qatar and all nations… you either expel them or you bring them to justice.”
Hamas said that six people were killed in the attacks, including the son of its exiled Gaza chief, Khalil al-Hayya, but said its top leadership, including members of its negotiating team, survived.
