According to WAM, the ship was received by UAE Ambassador to Egypt Mariam Khalifa Al-Kaabi, North Sinai Governor Major General Mohamed Abdel-Fadil Shousha, and officials from both countries.
The ship, which departed from Fujairah, carried 3,465 tons of food, 420 tons of shelter, as well as 131 tons of medical aid provided by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, in addition to the Emirates Red Crescent.
On Saturday, the UAE delivered two cargo planes of medical and other humanitarian aid to Arish airport.
One of the planes carried 10.35 tons of aid, including medical supplies, food, and two cranes. The other plane carried 6.38 tons of aid, including medical supplies, medications, solar panels, and flashlights, WAM added.
Saturday’s delivery is part of the UAE’s Operation Gallant Knight 3 to support the Palestinian people.
The UAE has already provided more than 7,523 tons of aid bound for Gaza via 111 aircraft loads and more than 63 truckloads.
