Sana’a Prepares for a Million-Man March Against U.S. Strikes Following Houthi Leader’s Call

Sana’a – The Committee for Al-Aqsa Support in Sana’a has announced that Al-Sabeen Square will be the gathering point for a million-man march scheduled for tomorrow, following a call from Houthi leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi.
The march, held under the slogan “Steadfast with Gaza… We Confront U.S. Escalation with Escalation,” aims to rally mass participation, with organizers urging citizens to take part in the demonstration set to begin at 3:30 PM local time.
Political and Escalatory Messages
This move comes amid rising regional tensions, particularly as U.S. airstrikes on Houthi positions in Yemen continue, prompting fierce reactions from the group, which has labeled the attacks as part of “American-Israeli aggression.”
The march is expected to convey strong political messages, emphasizing Houthi solidarity with the Palestinian cause while reaffirming their rejection of U.S. intervention in Yemen. Large crowds are anticipated, reflecting the level of mobilization driven by the group.
Security measures in the capital are expected to be tightened to manage the demonstration, with organizers calling for a peaceful protest that delivers a clear message regarding ongoing regional and international developments.
