Explosions Rock Weapons Depot at Al-Anad Military Base in Yemen’s Lahij Governorate

Aden — A series of violent explosions shook the Al-Anad military base in southern Yemen on Thursday evening, triggering widespread panic among residents in the surrounding Tuban district.
The blasts reportedly originated from a weapons and ammunition depot affiliated with the Al-Anad military axis, one of the most strategic installations in the country.
Eyewitnesses described hearing multiple detonations followed by plumes of thick smoke rising from the base, which lies approximately 60 kilometers north of Aden.
The explosions were powerful enough to be felt across neighboring villages, prompting emergency responses and heightened security alerts.
