The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace held its 12th plenary session in Geneva

The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) held its 12th session in Geneva, bringing together global leaders and parliamentarians to discuss strategies for promoting tolerance and peace worldwide.
Organized by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP), the session commenced on Monday and featured high-level panel discussions and bilateral meetings aimed at addressing contemporary challenges related to digital security, global stability, and parliamentary diplomacy.
Among the notable participants was Adedeji Stanley Dhikrullahi Olajide, Chairman of Nigeria’s House of Representatives Committee on Digital, Information, Communication Technology, and Cybersecurity.
Olajide highlighted Nigeria's robust legislative and technological initiatives, including strengthened cyber regulations and enhanced public-private partnerships designed to safeguard critical digital infrastructure.
The IPTP, which convenes quarterly, continues to play a pivotal role in fostering international partnerships and issuing recommendations to address global issues related to tolerance and peace.
