Mohammed Al-Houthi Warns Trump Against Attacking Iran, Mocks U.S. B-2 Bombers
Senior Houthi leader Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi issued a stark warning to former U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him to reconsider any plans for military action against Iran, and mocking the effectiveness of American B-2 stealth bombers in such a scenario.
In a post on the social platform X, Al-Houthi claimed that “the temporary entity”—a reference to Israel—was attempting to drag the United States into a direct war with Iran. He cautioned that such a move would have “devastating consequences for American interests in the region.”
“We remind Trump that B-2 bombers will not be decisive in Iran’s depths, just as they failed to make a difference in Yemen,” Al-Houthi wrote, referencing past U.S. military operations in the region.
He further warned that Trump’s involvement in what he called “Netanyahu’s aggression” could cost him any aspirations for a Nobel Peace Prize, adding sarcastically, “You’ll lose your peace stories if you join this escalation.”
The remarks come amid heightened tensions following mutual strikes between Israel and Iran, and reports that Trump has reviewed targeted strike options with his military advisors but has yet to issue a final decision.
Al-Houthi’s comments reflect a broader alignment of Iran’s regional allies, including the Houthis, in anticipation of a potential escalation. Western intelligence sources have also noted the deployment of B-2 bombers to forward bases, signaling U.S. readiness for rapid response.
