Riyadh — Saudi Arabia has reiterated its commitment to providing broad and sustainable support for the education sector in Yemen, according to an official statement.

The Kingdom emphasized that its assistance aims to strengthen educational infrastructure, improve access to schooling, and ensure long‑term investment in human capital across Yemeni governorates. 

The initiative includes funding for school construction and rehabilitation, provision of learning materials, and training programs for teachers to enhance the quality of education.

Saudi officials underscored that education remains a cornerstone of Yemen’s recovery and stability, noting that empowering youth through knowledge and skills is essential for building a resilient society. 

The support is part of Riyadh’s wider humanitarian and development efforts in Yemen, coordinated with international partners and organizations.

The announcement reflects Saudi Arabia’s stated policy of pursuing sustainable development projects in Yemen, with education positioned as a priority sector alongside health and infrastructure.
