Yemen :Masam Project Clears 706 Mines in One Week

The Saudi Project for Landmine Clearance (Masam), implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), successfully removed 706 mines during the fourth week of February 2025.
The cleared ordnance included 13 anti-personnel mines, 24 anti-tank mines, 668 unexploded ordnance, and one improvised explosive device.
As of February, the total number of mines removed has reached 2,817, while the cumulative number of mines cleared since the beginning of the Masam project has risen to 483,343.
These mines, randomly planted across Yemen, continue to pose a threat to civilians, particularly children, women, and the elderly.
