Reports: Iran Recommends Restructuring Yemen's Houthis "Away from Official Institutions''

Sanaa – Intelligence sources have revealed Iranian recommendations aimed at restructuring the Houthi group away from the official institutions it controls, in a bid to strengthen absolute loyalty to Tehran and shield the group from potential security breaches.
According to reports, Iran seeks to dismantle the traditional ties between Houthi fighters and Yemen’s military establishment, replacing them with individuals it describes as "mujahideen," even if they are new to combat, ensuring they are trained under a strictly Iranian ideological framework.
Security sources have confirmed that the overlap between the Houthis and state institutions has become a security vulnerability, allowing for precision strikes against the group in recent months. In response, Tehran has proposed creating parallel entities to manage military and political decision-making, independent of formal government structures.
