Aden – Yemeni media outlets reported on Wednesday that southern government forces in Hadramout confirmed the stability of the situation in the governorate and reiterated their readiness to defend the south.

According to the reports, the southern government forces in Hadramout urged citizens to remain reassured and not be swayed by rumors, stressing that conditions are stable and fully under control.

A military source quoted by local media said, “The southern government forces are monitoring developments with high responsibility and full readiness.” 

The source added, “Our cause is the restoration of a homeland and legitimate rights, not a war against any authority.”

The forces further emphasized their preparedness “to defend the soil of the south with all available means.”
