Yemeni gov't forces kill 9 Houthis, wound 17 in Al-Hudayda
At least Houthis rebels were murdered as a result of an attack against Yemen government forces in Yemen, authorities emphasized on Sunday.
Military spokesman for the Yemeni Joint Forces on the West Coast, Wadah Al-Dabish, informed Anadolu Agency that at least 17 rebels were also wounded during the attack which conducted in the Ad Durayhimi district south of Al-Hudayda.
Since September of 2014, Houthis took control over the central and strategic port of Al-Hudayda in the capital of Sanaa and several more regions.
Government forces, however, control Al-Hudayda's entry points in the south and east.
