China supports the legitimate government of Yemen and a political solution to solve the Yemeni issue, Chinese vice foreign minister Deng Li told his Yemeni counterpart in China on Tuesday.
China supports Yemen in safeguarding its sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity, the Chinese foreign ministry cited Deng as saying in a statement.
Both sides exchanged views on the Israel-Palestine conflict and the situation in Red Sea, the ministry said.
