UN Envoy to Yemen Visits Oman for Talks on Detainee Crisis and Peace Efforts
 
                       
                      Muscat -- The United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, has visited the Sultanate of Oman to hold high-level discussions aimed at advancing peace efforts and addressing the ongoing detainee crisis in Yemen.
During his visit to Muscat, Grundberg met with senior Omani officials, including Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi, as well as Mohammed Abdulsalam, the chief negotiator for the Houthi group. The talks focused on stabilizing the situation in Yemen, improving humanitarian conditions, and fostering a comprehensive political process that includes all Yemeni parties.
