Yemen: Seven Saudi Airstrikes Hit STC in Camp in Hadramout, Casualties Reported
Hadramout -- The Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Yemen announced on Friday that seven Saudi airstrikes targeted one of its camps in Al-Khasha, Hadramout’s valley and desert region, resulting in casualties among its forces.
Mohammed Abdulmalik, head of the STC in Hadramout, told Reuters : “Seven airstrikes targeted our camp in Al-Khasha, and there were dead and wounded among our forces.” He added that STC fighters managed to repel a ground assault on the camp.
No official comment from Saudi Arabia has been issued so far regarding the STC’s claims.
