Yemen: Houthi Leader Threatens U.S. and Israel Over Potential Military Escalation in Gaza
Sanaa- In a televised speech, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement, issued a stern warning to the United States and Israel, stating that his group would escalate its operations if military aggression in Gaza resumes.
Al-Houthi emphasized that any renewed attacks on Gaza would provoke a strong response from the Houthis, who have previously targeted international shipping and military assets in the region. He reaffirmed his group’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and warned that further escalation would have serious consequences for U.S. and Israeli interests.
