Yemen Reports 59 Deaths and 340 Injuries in Traffic Accidents During September
Sana'a - The Yemeni authorities have issued an official report detailing traffic accident statistics for the month of September.
According to the report, a total of 59 individuals lost their lives and 340 others sustained varying degrees of injuries as a result of road incidents across several governorates.
The report attributed the accidents to multiple factors, including excessive speeding, poor road conditions, mechanical failures, and non-compliance with traffic regulations. It also noted a significant number of cases involving motorcycles and public transport vehicles.
In response to these figures, the relevant authorities emphasized the importance of strengthening road safety measures, enhancing public awareness, and enforcing traffic laws.
The government reaffirmed its commitment to reducing accident rates and preserving the safety of citizens through coordinated efforts between law enforcement agencies and local institutions.
