Lahj — Security authorities in Lahj Governorate have confirmed the tragic deaths of three children, aged between 3 and 7 years, who suffocated inside an abandoned vehicle that had been out of service for an extended period. A fourth child, aged 6, was found alive and is currently receiving medical attention.

According to the official statement, the children entered the disabled vehicle while playing nearby, unaware of the danger it posed. Investigations revealed that the car’s doors could only be opened from the outside due to damaged internal handles, making it impossible for the children to escape or call for help once inside.
