Protest in London Calls on UK to Recognize South Yemen’s Right to Restore State
London – Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in central London today, calling on the British government to recognize the right of the people of South Yemen to restore their independent state.
Protesters waved Southern Yemeni flags and carried banners urging support for the aspirations of the southern people, stressing that the restoration of their state is essential for regional stability and security.
The rally also demanded that the UK classify Al-Qaeda, ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Houthis as terrorist organizations, warning that these groups pose a direct threat to international peace and security.
Organizers stated that the demonstration is part of a wider international campaign aimed at mobilizing political and human rights support for the southern cause, urging the global community to stand by their legitimate demands.
