A devastating fire has been raging through a sponge factory in Bani Al-Harith district , northen Sana'a, since the early hours of the morning. 

Local sources indicated that Civil Defense teams were late in arriving at the site to extinguish the fire, which compounded the resulting material losses.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, and investigations are underway to determine the circumstances leading to the incident.
