Al-Dhalea – A devastating lightning strike claimed the lives of four family members and left three others critically injured in the Mureis district of Al-Dhalea Governorate, central Yemen. The incident occurred on Wednesday during a bout of heavy thunderstorms that swept through the region.
Local sources reported that the lightning bolt struck the home of Naji Masad Mohammed in the village of Al-Murwi, Asaf area, killing two women and two children instantly. The three injured relatives were rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition for emergency treatment.
