Gas Stations Reopen in Yemen's Taiz After Price Increase
Taiz – Gas stations in the city of Taiz, southern Yemen, reopened on Sunday evening following a new price adjustment of 400 Yemeni rials.
Local sources reported that the price of a household gas cylinder has now risen to 10,900 rials, up from the previous rate of 10,500.
The sources noted that the increase was introduced as part of local authorities’ measures to regulate distribution and ensure continued availability, though residents voiced concerns over mounting living costs.
