In an official letter addressed to the United Nations Security Council, the United Arab Emirates firmly rejected attempts to exploit international platforms to spread misinformation.
The UAE emphasized the importance of focusing on addressing the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, calling for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
The letter highlighted the UAE’s active participation in the London Conference to support the transition toward an independent civilian government in Sudan, reaffirming its commitment to international humanitarian law and the protection of civilians.
The UAE also urged the international community to adopt a unified stance against any efforts to obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid.
This message comes amid escalating tensions in Sudan, with the UAE stressing the need for the Security Council to remain a platform for promoting peace and stability, free from any attempts at manipulation or misinformation.
