Washington – The U.S. Department of State announced that Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Tuesday, during which the two officials discussed the ongoing tensions in Yemen and broader regional security issues.

The conversation followed the United Arab Emirates’ announcement of its decision to withdraw its remaining military forces from Yemen, a move that has drawn significant regional and international attention.

Both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination to address regional security challenges and to support efforts aimed at achieving stability in Yemen through political solutions.
