International Reports Warn of Houthi Missile Threats Against Southern Yemen
Sana’a — International reports have revealed that Yemen’s Houthi movement is redirecting its drone and missile capabilities toward southern governorates, signaling the possibility of a new wave of military escalation.
According to the German Press Agency (dpa), citing special sources, the Houthis are preparing to launch missile strikes targeting the southern heartland and vital infrastructure, in a pattern reminiscent of previous attacks that struck ports in Hadramout and Shabwa, as well as Aden International Airport.
The development comes only hours after government forces aligned with the Southern Transitional Council (STC) announced the start of a dual military operation aimed at confronting both the Houthis and extremist organizations.
