Aden -- Yemen Airways has announced plans to strengthen its fleet by adding four new, modern aircraft in the coming period. 

The move comes as part of the national carrier’s strategy to enhance operational capacity, improve service quality, and meet the growing demand for air travel across regional and international routes.

According to the airline, the additional aircraft will significantly boost its ability to provide more reliable connections, expand destination coverage, and support the country’s economic and humanitarian needs. 

The expansion is also expected to improve passenger comfort and safety standards, aligning Yemen Airways with international aviation benchmarks.

Industry observers note that the decision reflects the airline’s efforts to overcome challenges posed by years of conflict and limited resources, while reaffirming its role as a vital lifeline for Yemenis at home and abroad. 

The new aircraft are anticipated to enter service gradually, with details on delivery schedules and specifications to be announced soon.
