A team from the Refugee Health Project carried out a field visit to Al-Sadaqa General Teaching Hospital in Aden Governorate to see the conditions of patients hospitalized in the various departments of the hospital, including refugees and asylum-seekers, in addition to assessing the performance of the medical referral service.
During the field visit, the project team met with Dr. Rajaa Ahmed Ali, Director General of Al-Sadaqa General Teaching Hospital, and discussed with her aspects of enhancing the project's relationship with the hospital and prospects for developing it within the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties at the beginning of this year.
It is important to note that HUMAN ACCESS has been conducting health projects for refugees in Kharaz and Al-Basateen areas of Aden and Lahj governorates, funded by UNHCR, to provide health care services to refugees who cannot access health facilities due to their refugee trauma.
